Tami Pfleger - Owner - V.P/Merchandising and Sales Specialist

Tami got her first glimpse of computerized embroidery in 1983. She was amazed by the detail and instantly knew it was a technique she needed to learn more about. That interest has parlayed into a successful family owned business that will celebrate 30 year in 2016. Tami works alongside her husband Lowell Pfleger and her two daughters Sara Mills and Katy Harper. She has an older son, Ross, who lives in North Dakota and she has been blessed with two handsome grandsons!
Throughout the years Tami has worked with an honorable list of clients on the national level; the Smithsonian Institute in Washing ton D.C., Yellowstone National Park, and the National Museum of the American Indian, to name a few.
Tami was instrumental in creating and marketing Lakota Designs, a unique line of wearable art focusing on the Plains Indian. In addition to designs created by BHE, the line has also featured artwork by award winning Native artists Don Montileaux, Jim Yellowhawk, Martin Red Bear and Sandy Swallow-Morgan. Lakota Designs has achieved national and global status and can be purchased locally at Crazy Horse and Prairie Edge.
Merchandising is Tami’s passion and she is proud to have negotiated long standing contracts with the Black Hills Stock Show and the National Little Britches Rodeo Association for BHE to be the exclusive vendor of their souvenir merchandise.
